I still have over 100 fry I culled twice in the two months about 25 to 30........they eat beef-heart mix with seafood, FDBW, Live brine shrimp (w/spirulina powder), Sera Pellets and tetra bits. They get 150% water change every day and the tank wiped down and the pre-filter cleaned daily with chlorinated water. The filter gets cleaned weekly with dechlorinated water. any questions..........Josie

It was hard the spawn was very large, and many great fry to choose from. what I did was sat next to the tank and picked the ones that were the alpha in the group and the ones that were showing of course color and shape..... hope this helps Teshi...........Josie

Still doing 150% water changes daily 50% after first feeding and 100% at night before bed. They get fed 7 times a day beef heart, Sera discus pellets, FDBW and live brine shrimp soaked in spirulina supplement. They are in a 40g with a sponge filter and a aqua-clear with a Poret pre-filter thats power sprayed daily. If you guys have question ask away thanks again..............Josie

With your feeds what are you finding you feed most to accelerate groth? Alot of people over that way seem keen with the FDBW. This week I am going to try and add in FDBW, micro worms and a .5mm fry powder and see how they go. Keep up the good work..

They get the beef heart three times a day, I think the growth is coming from the beef heart. I mix- beefheart, sea salmon, sea cod, sea gulf shrimp (devained and cleaned), fresh spinach, amazon berries, bananas and some ancient Chinese secrets (my aunt bio- chemist - food scientist for 25 years) LOL...... I do believe the growth is from the mix the other food is like snacks.........Josie
