i don't think there is one in our area. Chad Hughes used to ran 1 in San Diego. That would be cool if we have one close here.

how about if we rent some place like ymca..or the elks lodge..maybe we can all chip in the payment..and we can discus from there where our clubhouse gonna be locate and members could chip in renting a warehouse..hopefully some of us have more specific location in mind?

Well we could just meet up at a public location just to get things started meet everyone and get to know each other. Maybe then we can take turns hosting the club meetings once a month or every other month what do u guys think.

alrighty then...we have enough people to start the ball rooling...how about the first meeting at the park..i know one on rosemead blvd...next to the 60 frwy..it's huge and free..with lots of trees for fresh air...lol

Does any use sand for their tank? If so, does any know place in our area (los angeles/San Gabriel area) that carry white pool filter sand? I called around and they only has tan/river color sand. Found 2 lfs that carry white sand but it cost about $1 per lb. compared to about $12 for 100 lbs in pfs.

There is a building supply on sepulveda near western blvd. white pool sand, about 10.00 dollars, the place it's callled lomita something, sorry. You really need to rinse it good the rinsed water will look like milk
