Sand on the bottom of the tank

Hi guys.i have had fine sand as my substrate for many years.I have decided to o bare bottom and can't get the last 5-10% out my tank.Any ideas???Be using a python hose to get the most of it out

Take the end attachment off the python and go with straight hose into a bucket. You'll get more suction that way. If you have another tank to home the fish in for a bit a shop vac works wonders also!!
