Had it yesterday morning, very painful recovery now, only my left hand to use for most stuff. I hope to be healed up enough in a month to start cone making again. Thank you to the people who are waiting for them. Yours will be made first. Ice and tylenol with codeine are my only pain relievers. Others make me ill. Still trying to figure out how to do wc's on 2 big tanks using only my left hand and arm.

That 12.12.12 is the last sequential date that most of us see in our lifetimes.

Hang in there Barb. I really feel for you. Pain after surgery is not any fun with pain killers. I couldn't imagine enduring without them!!!

Your in my prayers!!!!!

gee, thanks everybody, made me feel a bit better with all your nice replies. I have no nausea this time, dr.gave me a pill and a round patch behind one ear, what a difference this time. I feel pretty good except for my right upper arm and shoulder. He did it arthroscopically instead of the big 4" cut last year. This will heal up faster. No more arms to injure so I am done with rotator cuff tears I hope. My husband is being very helpful. Thanks again!

Thanks guys! I am sitting here with an icepack on my shoulder. Surgery was almost a week ago, getting better but still painful. Sure glad I don't have a 3rd arm to hurt. Two is enough.

Hugs Barb, it will be worth it in the end but when you are in pain sort of hard to think about it that way.

Speedy recovery and hope you are feeling better! Seems to be the season, my father-in-law just had surgery as well and I am looking at a knee after the new year :)

Thanks Pat, Andrew and skennedy. I appreciate all words of support and kindness. Shoulder surgery is such a painful recovery. I start PT in about 8-10 days, that will be a whole new set of pain. At least I got the stitches out yesterday, a step in the right direction. Gee I sure miss all my pottery work. Can't do it with only my left hand though...
