Discus are discus. There is no "one specific strain" that is "easier" to breed than another...

I would start out with a non pigeon line.

Maybe start with a Brilliant or Blue Diamond - something that can darken up well to help with attachment.

Any Stendker fish breeds easy. :)

Stendker's breed like rabbits. Any non-PB strain will be the easiest for you.
