I've had this tank set up for 4 yrs and I'm actually trying to sell it but its not easy in this town. I only know of Craigslist and all I get are scammers :( it's a Red Sea max 250 complete plug and play system. i love it but my discus take all my attention now. i love to look at it when the algae isnt covering all the glass lol. http://i1357.photobucket.com/albums/q744/Dogvet06/saltwater/IMG_3640_zps8404e97a.jpg

How much are you trying to sell it for? It's a beautiful tank.

Looks good. I'm trying to sell mine as well LOL! I'll post a pic of mine as well in a different post. It's funny how when you go to buy someone else's tank or whatnot and they think it's made of gold and your reef tank was put togther for a 100 bucks.

$2500 which is a steal with the thousands of dollars I put into the coral

Very nice set up! I have a 56G reef which I really like. You should keep it. One day, you may get bored with discus and wish you still had the reef tank. Don't know how many tanks you have, but it's nice to have a few different set ups, at least for me. Really like the flame angel. I should get one for my tank. Does it get along ok with your other fish?

Beautiful tank Jaimie, but it will be really hard to find some one willing to pay that much, don’t get me wrong, I'm not saying you reef tank doesn't worth that money, I'm sure it does. But it's hard to sell it as a whole at a fair price. One of my tanks is a 200 gallon which I convert to fresh water community tank, mostly angels........ It was full of different kinds of corals and fish, I tried to sell it for $5000.00 but the best offer I receive was $1500.00.
So I decided to sell everything separate, people came and spend $40.00, $200.00, $100.00, $400.00 etc I even trade some corals for 3 nice watches :)

All corals, fish, live rock and most of equipment where gone in about 3-4 weeks, I end up with $4800.00 and keep tank, stand, sump, pump, everything to run it as fresh water.

Yeah I was thinking that but most of the coral is all grown together and would be hard to separate
