First shipment from Germany

Hello all,
the first shipment will be coming in on Tuesday February 26, instead of Thursday 28, the change was due to weather and flight changes. So the good news is that we are getting our First order from Mr. Piwowarski two days earlier :). I will document the progress and keep everyone up to date on their arrival. Thank you all for the many requests for pre-orders and deposits but as I mentioned earlier we will not take deposits on Discus that we don’t have in our possession. Once they arrive we (mostly the mad scientist LOL) will evaluate their health and quality and then we will post the list and prices. That’s not fair to you (the customer) to take your money as we know the risks of importing discus and we choose not to put those risks on the customer. Thank you all for your patience and I will post the progress here.....Josie

It is very exciting to see Alex Piwowarski discus becoming available. It will intersting to see what strains will be available now and in the future. I really like the blue diamond snake, blue snake skin and high body. Heck, I like them all. Good luck to Josie in her venture and I look forward to the updates.

I will post what strains and sizes that are available on wednesday or thursday along with photos. We will be getting them on Tuesday afternoon and after proper quarantine and rest from there long trip we will start shipping them out the end of the first week in march .....Josie

I recall Kraig saying that Alex will not have any Jumbo RTs for over a year. As my order for the Jumbo RT was lost in Kraig's accident, I would be very interested if any jumbo RTs are coming in the shipment.

Ok guys we were hit with a really bad snow storm in chicago with high winds up 40 miles per hour and zero visibility......Josie

But Lufthansa came through like champs. We still received our first order from Mr. Piwowarski and all I can say is top notch not one death all Discus made it through perfectly fine. All are settling in our tanks and resting from there long journey. Bags were nice and warm no problems at all Hats off to Mr. Piwowarski. I will update more tomorrow. Much needed work to do......Josie :):):):):)
