I've heard a lot of folks mention they were excited to eat Texas BBQ when they come to the NADA show in June 2014, the link below has info on a few of the more popular places (video seems to be missing, but article is good). Enjoy!

I'm actually looking forward to trying some Texas BBQ when NADA 2014 rolls around....I'm used to SC BBQ (Mustard based pork) and never had real Texas BBQ. Need to try some of that beef.

It's 20.3 miles from hotel to original Salt Lick. Although they have a front at the airport for all you incoming/outgoing air travelers!

Franklin's BBQ and J. Muellers are the two best in Austin..

Franklins is one of top 20 places to eat in USA..

People start waiting at 7am for the 11am open.. they serve till sold out

Pretty good eating right there. The best thing is that they have a all you can stuff your face option!!!!!

Had rattlesnake and rabbit sausage few months ago at a place here called the Woodshed, was damn good!!! Trying to find some decent gator sausage around here...
