hi everyone,i just started to have discus, need help,a week ago my friend gave me a pigeon size 2",i put it in my tank and he lives good and eat so much tetrabits, upon searched the articles,i learned that discus cannot live alone,so i bought a red marlboro 2" yesterday, after i put it in the tank, the pigeon started to chase the marlboro to every corner of the tank as the marlboro keep running away from him...
what's with that situation?,is it okay?,what should i do if it's not okay?.
thanks in advance, sorry for my english.

Its suggested that you have a minimum of 6 discus when they are not pair. That way one little one is getting beat up all the time and you spread the aggression.

You should read a lot more on SD. Discus do much better in schools of at least 5. Please read about tank size, bare bottom tanks, water quality, water changes and a lot more!

Why don't you tell us more about your tank setup and water.

And welcome to Simply Discus.

A world of information is just a click of a button away.
