Too bad i could not get the jumbo ones. Here is my Alex Piwowarski RT batch that i got from Kraig. I feed them my own BH, Dan Live California Black Worms and Al FDBW.

Yes, they are. i am trying to grow them out the max size and hopefully look like yours.

Tony, how big are yours now? Mine are all around five inches now. Bet yours are bigger since you are feeding live.
eyeball guessing, they're between 4.5-5" the biggest is close to 5",

Pat, i got them on Feb 23. the pictures may add something to them, they're smaller than yours.

Wow, yours is a lot bigger than the three I got from the same shipment... When I got them they were only 1.5-2"... I've have them for three weeks and they are looking at about 2.5-3".
Kalelhawj, You're doing great growing them out too. Post some pics when you're have a chance.
I think it's time to update now and here is quick poor video. My smallest one is 6" and biggest one is a bit over 7". I recently moved them to bigger tank. well see if I can grow them out as big as they should be.

That's what I love about Piwow... They get very thick and big... My 3 little piwow I got from Kraig are now 5" with the smallest one at 4.5". All were from the same shipment you got yours, but these were the smaller 5-7cm, which were actually 1.5-2". I haven't measure my Piwow RT (Avatar/Signature), but from just eye measure he's 7" or more now and slowly growing. Yours are growing faster and will probably out grow my largest one.

that's Alex's Cobalt over 7 inches.

Very nice... They are growing nicely... What size tank is that?
it's 150G tank 72"x24"x20"height. the biggest one is 7.5" and smalleest one 6" still have more to grow. hope they all become jumbo :)

7.5 is already consider Jumbo... :D You have already reach that mark... Anything 8" or above will be consider monster size for Discus in my book... lol
I only have 1x at 7.5" and other under 7". I am very happy right now but happier if they ALL are 7" :)

They are doing great but none pair right now but no rush because don't have time. I'm looking for some dance potion#9 mix in my water :)

They are great but something wrong with my water, none of them pair up. I lost one due to upgrading bigger tank and it must be the biggest one.

Sry to hear that Tony. What is your TDS in that tank?
No worry, can't wait for them pair up. I haven't checked for long time but it was 490tds , 7.8-8 ph. They should be fine with tap water

I thought the TDS had to be much lower for successful hatching? However, I have never bred discus, so please do not put any merit in my question, lol. I know you have bred them before so I'm sure you know what you are doing.

Still no luck on these. I lost couple due to my back injure not able to maintain many tanks. only 1 consider jumbo out of the whole group, the rest are between 6.5" to close to 7".

I think so but will see how many i can fit in that tank. Plus, i won't transfer all to new tank at once, i am moving couple in 1-3 weeks apart.
