Hello to everyone
Another question i have a API NEXX filter system with a second canister attached as well as the pre-filter. so my question is that fine and leave as is or add or replace with a more tradonal sponge

It might be easier to eliminate this thread and ask your question on the thread you are refering to so people don't come here and wonder what you are talking about. It helps keep all your questions about the same thing confined to one thread as opposed to multiple threads for the same issue.

But the API appears to be a good filter.
