K1 media filter doesn't rotate

Hi guys I just installed a K1 media filter but the media does not
Rotate. It is just compact on the top of the bottle. Please help me

Just give it time.

That will happen until the bacteria grow onto the K1. Give it a couple of weeks.

Give it time but I think you need to loose airstone with something else which create bigger bubbles.

The air stone needs to be closer to the bottom. The media will start rotating it’s just needs time to saturate. What I do is turn the air up all the way and wait usually takes a few hours and sometimes over night......Josie
