Walter's Red Lady and others at the House of Geh-Tao

As some of you know from the last SWDA meeting. I stole some of Walter's pairs which of course I never intend to give back. He does not know this yet so don't tell him. Anyway I stole them to see if I could get the to breed for me. I threatened them a few weeks ago with a knife and they spawned, but one only had 5 wrigglers and the others had a nice spawn, but I lost quite a few during free swimming and none attached. Well the in the past couple of days the pairs that used to be his (sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) spawned again. The CBs ate their wrigglers (talk about wanting to choke a fish out), but the one I call the Red Lady did not such thing.

Yeah something was going on there with the pictures for a minute I loaded all of it and had to reload the pictures because for some reason the did not show up. The male is rather nice. Maybe I will steal him to see what my female YD thinks of him........lol

Oh and today I threatened Walter's CBs again. I told them I was going to throw them out in the middle of the street and if Walter did not make it in time to pick them up before they were run over by a car...Oh well. I walked Aonghus, fed the fish, but not them because well that would have been a waste of food. I went to grab my phone so they could see I was at least giving Walter a head start to make it here before they were roadkill. Turn towards the tanks so they could read my lips just in case they do not hear well and those little b@$%$#d had spawned. I am now contemplating throwing them out anyway and just artificially raising the fry.

Those are some pretty fishes Mishka. Morning WCs, lol. My mornings consist of no more than turning fishroom lights on, taking heart out of the freezer to thaw for about 15 minutes, pouring coffee down me while the heart thaws, feeding fish and getting ready for work. Maybe I'll do AM WCs if I can ever retire.

Wishing you guys the best! Just do small water changes after they lay, just enough to clean the tank bottom. Feed lightly and stay away from beefheart to keep water quality up. Keep that water consistent!! Good luck! ;)
