Not as simple as that im afraid ..

What filtration is going to be used ? Canisters or Sump or other ..
How heavily are you planning to plant the tank ?
What size are you going to stock with ?
What are the tank dimensions/footprint ?

All these things and probably more will determine your stocking level.
120 is quite a large tank and your water Param's should be easier to control in terms of levels spiking etc than a smaller volume .. But i would say your turnover rate on your filtration is key.

Have you kept Discus before or is this your first crack at them ?

Growing out in a planted can be done but i would look at other options.
There are plenty of great threads on this topic that you might want to check out.

Best of luck. Let us know how it all goes :) would love to see a few pics of the setup

Everyone will have different opinions on stocking level.
I think 6 would be fine with your current level of filtration but others may stock more. It all comes down to your maintenance and WC regime.

Topajas love to dig and may uproot a freshly planted tank, especially lightly rooted Stem Plants

6 to 8 would be a good number.

I was thinking 10 or is that to muchMake your mind up ;)

I think 6 to 8 is a reasonable start point, but as this is a new tank I'd be more concerned about how you intend to establish the bio filter ...

Too establish the biofilter you should use seachem stability with media from another establish tank that you know is healthy.
