Hi... I have a MAJOR snail infestation in my tank and don't particularly want to use chemicals to treat it... i have heard that clown loaches eat them but they seem a bit skittish for my nice calm discus? Any suggestions would be helpful...
Thanks

Few options have worked in my planted :
Chuck a lettuce leaf in before lights out. The snails will feed on it over night and simply remove in the morning.
Hand pick any you see on the glass
Never had any real success with snail traps but could be an option.
Any method you choose will take time so you need to be patient.
I have had in the past x 4 Clowns with a group of 10 Domestics and they worked out well.

Assassins are not available in Australia so i suppose you guys have an advantage !
Haha
But i have heard they are great for 'pest' control and they self regulate their population.
