The female is the fish in my signature bar and the male is a jumbo blue diamond seven turqs and one snakeskin I just call them the Chicago blues :)............Josie

We're happy with the 5 Chicago Blues we picked up in the SD auction a couple months ago. They've been out of quarantine for almost 2 weeks & are getting along well with their new tankmates. I believe ours are 2 months younger than the crazy eight.

I'm a new member, joined today. Love the fish. My question is what's the tube in the background? It looks like an airstone driven tumbler for peat granules or is it phosphate remover? I used to run a reef tank but have switched to freshwater so had a phosphate remover with the reef system to keep nuisance algae at bay.
