Discus spawning but not eating much

Hi all,

I have 12 6 inch discus from Hans in a 220 gallon tank with wet dry. 2 pairs have spawned but the group barely eats flake (Hans flake) or freeze dried black worms. Temp at 86. Hans (who is awesome) says it will just take time. We are on 2 months. This is a non planted display. Thoughts?

It's normal for them to go off their food when spawning.

My pairs eat all the time. Spawning has no affect on their eating habits. How much water you changing?

50 per cent once a week

Mine stopped eating when they were spawning 'til they ate their fry. LOL

Well I change 50% a day to the tune of roughly 600 gallons a day.

Start wc at least 3 times a week and see what happens.
