the heckel and fruits in their diet

hi i was going to try a mix of avocado,banana,pear,blueberries,some beef heart,garlic,a small amount of spiralina powder and gelatien to bind .has anyone used friuts in there mixs and can anyone foresee any problems with my mix. regards lawrence

Pat has used some berries in her BH mix with good results. I use bananas is my BH mix and have had no problems with them.

thanks pat good read ,i just made a small batch with banana,spinach,blueberries,pear,avocado,beef heart,garlic and geliten to bind.i was very surprised when i dropped it in the heckel tank they went crazy and ate up every last bit.the greens and cuipeua eat it as well but not with the same gusto as the heckels .time will tell if the greens and cuipeua start to love it but i will only feed it twice a week the rest of the week will be fdbw,live blackworm,live brine shrimp and sera discus granules.i soak the discus granules in water with spiralina powder to prevent bloating.regards lawrence
