They've started spawning again, so I'll see what happens. Typically they've eaten the eggs within 2 days or as soon as the wigglers start moving. The last time the fry attached and they spawned again twice while rearing them. The first batch got eaten, then the second time they ate the eggs and then started on the free swimmers. I should have pulled them, but to me there weren't enough to go through the bother.

Yes Ryan for the most part. With this pair and type of wild the female gets very red.

Pat's are much nicer fish than mine, but yes, the females I have all tend to be more attractive, especially when breeding. They all turn deep red and the blue ring and black halo seem to really jump out. The males always seem to look the same regardless of breeding or not.

Thats beacause males are always for action.
