Fluval 306 canister filter

Anyone any experience of one of this type of filter ??

I have been using this one for my discus tank. It is okay. Instead of using the bio ring, I replaced them with the Matrix...it is much better.
I prefer HOB filters and sponge filter. It is much easier to clean the HOB one.

The only one thing I hate about canister filter that I have to clean the hoses every month (2 weeks if you feed discus with beef heart everyday) because so many stuffs and algae building up in there.

I had those Fluval filters, but I hated those ribbed hoses. I now only use Eheim canister filters, and I only clean them about once every 6 months. I hear the newer Fluvals are better now.
