I have had an aqueon water changer for quite a while now and it's starting to fall apart. The hose is all kinked up hard to use. So i was wondering if the python was any better than the aqueon?(hose quality, longitivity, etc.) Are the faucet adapters for the aqueon and the python the same?

Check that out. The aqueon is junk IMO.

Run hot water through the hose it makes it real permeable...straighten it out....THEN run cold water through it ;)

The actual attachments to the faucet is the same but the threads attaching the hose to the faucet attachment is different. So if you want to use a python hose on an aqueon faucet attachment you have to change the fitting on the hose to an aqueon fitting.

I connect the python with the regular water hose from Home Depot, so I can suck the waste, left over food, and water to the garden directly....It is very convenience and fast. Plus, I can water the garden too

I have never had good luck with the Aqueon water changer faucet attachments. No matter how gentle and careful I am with the attachments the threads go bad after being used for awhile. Are the Python attachements any more durable? What kind of results does anyone have with the Python water changer?

Also, my last 50 foot Aqueon changer did not produce enough suction to remove the water from the aquarium. It seemed that the hose was smaller diameter.
