anybody here use a eheim 2229 wet/dry canister filter? A friend of mine gave me one and it worked fine until i noticed a small leak and took it apart which lead me to the float valve inside the smaller canister on the outside of the filter. It was broken so I ordered a whole new float valve and compartment for it since they changed the shape of the float valve and the one I had wasnt made anymore. I finally received the new float valve today and its not working properly. The filter is just continuously filtering, and the float valve isnt moving up or down like its supposed to. If anyone has any ideas what it could be please let me know. thanks!
