Wild Tefe Tank Redo

[Second Hand Pat]

My Tefe's are in the 100 gallon with the living room and the tank has been dark and bare. The fish do not seem to care but it finally got to me. So the last couple of water changes I have removed the old sand which as dark and replaced with new sand and this morning I re-wooded one side of the tank. I will re-wood the other side next week. For those who have known me since I was a new member here this tank was my first discus tank and my first craiglist tank and hence, it is full of scratches, so live and learn.

Good great Pat ... any pair from this group?

My breeding pair of Tefe's is in this group Ryan. I also added three F1s from Batch A and two Tefe RSGs from Mark from last year. I have had them in full tap to prevent breeding but now the TDS is going down and several of the young fish should mature out this fall and winter so hoping to breed the F2s.

Very nice love seeing the picture of your discus and setup one I'm always looking for in the new threads. :D RSG one of my favourite been trying to covince Rod that I should purchase his personal collection of RSG they very much the same as yours from memory have spots almost all the way through. I'll keep trying Rod but I think I'm not going to have much luck!

I seen them and just wanted them they are brilliant. Once he gets back to the breeding I will certainly take many of the young. Not sure where he is at with F4 or anything in that part I only know they were personally selected by Jeffory.

From what I could gather from Rod is that they were bred from wild stock domesticly via Jeffory but not 100% exactly sure. They look very much the same as your RSG's
