Hi Everyone....tired and can't even find anything in " Search " on posting pictures. I have a folder with them on my Desktop...seems like I should be able to copy and paste ? is there an easy procedure for a tired ol Man to do this ? Thanks for your help, Boyd.

Boyd, lets tackle this tomorrow but if you wish to try to use the attachment function (looks like a paper clip) to upload your pictures you can try it. It is not real user friendly and there is a size limit to the files uploaded.

I upload the pic from computer or smartphone to photobucket account. Then go to photobucket and click on copy link for forums. Then just paste that link here.

You don't run into size restrictions this way, and your pics are nicely visible.

I will join Photobucket in the next 24 hours :-) thank you....Pat I did not have a paper clip, like on my email ( which is easy ) just says " insert picture " then ask for an URL. I attempted to look up info in FAQ's and used Search, with no luck...could of been just too fatigued from Work, busy at the Park on Evening Shifts at times :-) Have a Grateful day :-)

Boyd, if you select the Go Advanced button (lower left of the Quick Reply) you should see it then. I also upload my pictures to photobucket as I dislike having to resize the pictures.

Boyd, once you click on go advanced you should see the paperclip as above. As Pat mentioned though, it isn't really user friendly. The easier way if you have already uploaded the image to photobucket is to use the icon just below and slightly to the left of the paperclip. Just paste the URL of the photo there and you'll find it much easier. Hope that helps some, but if not we can try again :)

I never had much luck using the photo posting capabilities oon the forums. I upload to photobucket. Once uploaded to there, photobucket will give you copiable links for your picture. There is an option to copy a full img link (photo link) that you can paste into your post. Once posted, the img link will show up as a picture.

If using a mobile you can use tapatalk app. Its the only way I found I could post pictures since I dont have internet at home.

Of course :-) I had an old refugium, figured it would not hurt to use it, drilled an 1.5 " w/bulkhead fitting to cascade ( drain ) back to my wet/dry. I teed off the discharge of my Little Giant pump to the refug, sock filter, lucky bamboo, eco plant substrate with Wisteria ( according to our threads, these plants love Nitrates, then to last chamber with ceramic rings, thermometers in the 1st and last chambers of the refug. then drain over to the wet/dry, with two little fishes reactors, one with Phosban ( phosphate control ) the other with Purigen beads. Bio/balls, ceramic rings, uv sterilizer, back to tank. The recirc to the refugium allows for slow flow to the Main tank, about 5 turnovers per hour. this tank has been set up about two Months now....so far , so good, one water change, about 50%, the other change about 30-40%.Have not kept track of water test, as the Rummy Nose are happy with the water, etc. thanks for asking, love my tank, and am Blessed to be able to keep up with this Hobby :-)

This is how mine appear. In my photobucket just to the right of the picture there's a box that says Links to share this photo. There is an IMG line and if I click it once it says copied. Come here and click where I want to put the picture and depress ctrl and V at the same time. Whala

I don't have the extra [IMG] and {/IMG] you do.

Is that a new stain of football discus you're working on Keith?

I'm glad you got it worked out, Boyd.

Keith, how'd youmget that white discus to stay still while everyone wrote on it? Or is that just a really cool pattern that just looks like signatures?

If she's happy in that one, why make her move? She is an impressive specimen. I can only hope to get one that nice someday.

Actually that's the prize for a raffle my church is doing and a picture is likely all I'll have after Oct. 6.

Yea, the ball came from the Packers and a woodworker and glazier from the church congregation made the case. The wood is 30 year old black walnut that came from a tree from the woodworkers front yard.
