Guys help in determining if the discus are the same‚ two local breeders are selling me some discus.

Tiger pigeon and red map i googled and seems like the same discus.

Ichiban red/red diamond is just red melon?im a correct?

Breeders use different names to make you think that it's better. I've never heard of a tiger pigeon before, but I have heard of a red map. I haven't heard of an ichiban red before either. The red diamond is a red melon. I'd classify the first one as a red map.

It definitely does. There's a guy here in the US who has names like Super Red Melon, which is just a high grade Red Melon and other stuff like that. He doesn't have half the fish he has on his website.
