Lousy pictures, but the new slimmed configuration. Down to 11 fish at the moment, two pairs and the seven offspring in the center.

Oh, but I've seen cone cleaning in both tanks in the last two days.

What a great view you have. Good luck with the pairs. Do you have grow out tanks in case they succeed?

Let's see, a 55, 46, 29, 26. Enough options for a couple pairs. Haven't run out of space yet, and I am to keep it that way.

You down to only 3 tanks? What happened? I thought you had a fishroom!...Tho I'm finding out as well that less is more...Bill

I'm seeing useless cabinet doors that could be turned into another shelf.....and you can easily fit a shelf above all of them....;);) hahaha looks good!

I agree. I've downsized recently as well. It is quite nice when doing water changes....they don't take nearly as long.

At the moment, yes. I took a page from the WP playbook and sold almost all the adults that weren't doing anything for me. Things may change when that tank of growouts get a little bigger.

Funny, I was looking at that space above the tanks just the other evening. I've got several options for adding a bunch of tanks if I want, but right now I'm really enjoying the easier fish life. From the quality of the pictures you can now clearly see why I PMed you. :) Once I've had a chance to go through the tank pictures I took later last night I'll post a few fish pics.

And when I get up... :)

The RT pair. Mom on the right, and dad is actually the bigger of the two fish.

The Virgin Red/Red Cover pair.

And their off-spring

I really need to clean the glass before anymore pictures are taken.

Thanks Larry. I love their color and shape, but I'm continuing to work on the size. Between having smaller parents, being Asian, and getting sick when they were young they aren't setting any size records at a year old. I'm hoping daddy's homemade beefheart and now live red wigglers will eventually get them up to at least the size of their parents.

Good looking fish Keith, and I notice how symmetrical the whole layout is, even my cones are equally spaced =)

Wow!!! That's a huge down size for you. At least you still have some, it'll take a while to get use to it. They re great. Enjoy

I'm not sure if they're getting better or if I'm just taking more and doing half way decent picking out the best.

Yes, my wife and I clash a little about that topic. Funny I didn't center the 72 under the coral.

The 55 is empty and can be ready in about oh I'd say 15 minutes, or one beer, whichever comes first.

It's not that huge of a cut back, I think I topped out at 6 tanks. I've come to realize at least pre-retirement, if I ever get to that point, I'm just not cut out for a traditional fishroom full of tanks. Moderation.

The two fish in the center tank, to the left, don't move much:p
