Thanks all, not really finished yet, I plan to put matured media into the sump.

Under the hood is 4 stage 29gal sump, with ceramic media. It uses an overflow chamber and then pumped back out at approx 600gph. I am also experimenting with duckweed to see how it works on nitrates. I will also put in some purigen there.

It looks like your tank is right in the middle of the room...........

Yes it is. Island type. Will be stocked with bold giant adults, not skittish at all even in the cramped qt tank.

I really like what you did with the stumps! The windy wood looks really cool and with some age, will look even better.

If I could be critical I'd say the scape is a bit too positioned. The left and right side are too similar in height, width, and appearance. To make it more natural, I would keep one of the stumps closer to the front glass (probably the left since the stones are smaller) and the other toward the back. I would also move them so that the open space isn't so centered. Know what I mean? Wasn't sure if you were planning on doing some stem plants in the back but if you were, you could have the height gradually decrease toward center and then increase at the corners (like a "V") and that would be really awesome.

Very nice indeed. Is the wood natural? Also, I wonder about the rocks. I picked up some rocks for my 125 gallon getting it ready for fish. Luckily I checked the pH before adding fish, it jumped from my normal 7 to 8.6 or more. I took the rocks out and changed 100% of the water. Hopefully your rocks won't change the pH levels.

I like the look of the display tank.

I have a question about the sump. It looks like you have some white stuff in there. Is that all floss?
