i am new to breeding discus wondering if its a good idea to have a drilled tank for breeding discus ? if yes whats the best part to drill the side or the bottom? i would be very greatful for all your advice

Imo its easier to drill a side. If you drill the bottom, your plumbing will have to run through the bottom of the stand too. Also, be careful to not drill tempered glass. It will shatter. Some tanks have tempered bottom glass.
