I saw a photo and story about this fish just now on Yahoo, my home page. I do not know how to post it here but if you google "Long nosed Chimera" you will see it because one was just caught off Canada.

It's a Long Nosed Chimera. I think I read they live at depths of 6,000 feet.

I think this is a much better picture... I doubt anything looks great dead in a sink.
