Hi all!
Ok.... so, I bought this new canister filter for my new discus tank on ebay. Seems very nice and of pretty good quality. Made in China tho. Came with the worlds worst instructions I've ever seen. LOL. It has no brand name so I haven't been able to find any extra info on it. It also has a UV sanitizer built in.
My problem is, I have it all set up, but there is no indication of which line is the inlet and which is the outlet?
Also... how does the primer button work? Do I use this BEFORE turning the motor on? Do I hold the button down or keep pressing it? I've tried both ways and I see the water moving thru the tubes but nothing happens. I hear it gurgle like it's filling with water, but then it stops. I hear the motor, so I guessing it's working well. It's just doens't want to kick into gear.
Can the outlet be under the water level?
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
