I have a 95G tank (5ft long) with an Eheim prof 3e 2076 canister filter. Apart from that, I also use a Koralia pump to add circulation. I have an area of the tank where debris is lying on the surface of the sand.

I have the canister inflow and spraybar on same side and with inflow and spraybar at opposite sides, but both cases resulted in debris being collected at one end of the tank. The Koralia also did not help.

Any suggestions? Should I add a second filter? Or is there anything else I should be doing?

thanks

You can purchase small powerheads and point them anywhere you want.

My canister does the same thing but I don't mind that at all. I know there are no dead spots in the water and it simplifies cleanup.

it is a good thing if debris collect up only on one end/area of the tank. You just have to vacuum it to keep your fish happy.

+1 I set it up that way on purpose toward a constantly primed vacuum tube. I open a valve and it sucks it out.

LOL most people work at getting debris to one area of the tank for cleaning.

As others have said, I am not seeing the problem here?
