Hey guys Thought it was about time I put a video up :)

I don't suggest anyone to get a 2.5ft high tank lol when I'm on the highest set on my step ladder with my face an inch from the water and I still can't touch the bottom -.- very frustrating lol

so far I have
6 discus in tank 5-7 inch (adding 2 red Melons tonight)
5 bristlenoises
25 neon tetras
3 clown loaches

how much more discus should I put in the tank? I was guessing maybe all up 12?

Please everyone let me know what you think :) ty

You have neglected to say how many gallons the tank is and how often you do water changes. Tank looks great. I'm almost six feet and my 125 gallon is very deep so I can sympathize with your about getting to the bottom! LOL! The video on Photobucket buffers very slowly so can't see the entire tank but it looks great and from what I see you could have more discus but hard to tell how many until you list more info. Best wishes. Rufus

Tank looks good. You could to do about 15 discus max considering what you already have in your tank, but that may be a little tight. I think the 12 you have in mind is a good number.

I have a fx5 and i put the sponge prefilter and allowed me longer times between cleaning the canister. Just a suggestion.

? it only takes an hour to do a full clean than back together, I wouldn't need another filter running just for a hour

huh??? No its not another added filter running, it takes the place of the guard on the intake tube of your fx6. Its a hydro sponge filter that fits on the end and does not allow stuff to get sucked up in your canister so it would prolong having to take it apart and clean it and produces less fouled up water. Its a hydro III PREfilter.
