View Full Version : Ghosts and the Darkness

Good evening all,

Thanks to this site and the many knowledgeable members on it, I have been brought into the world of caring for and keeping Discus.

Many will consider the route I took as being not so flashy or colorful, but as it turns out, I really liked the solid subdued look of my
following new kids. Hope you enjoy and, thanks for looking.

I never seen those before, they look beautiful, and who knows they may turn out to give you a surprise later down the road.

Good morning everyone,

Indeed, the strain that i have are called Ghost Discus, and with them their can be slightly different variations in color. Many have a bright yellow forehead.
There are several breeders that offer them.

As far as age and size. The bigger one is at least 4 inches and the smaller one is around 3-3.5 inches. With a gravel planted tank I did not want to do
real young Juvies. I only feed these guy's 3 times a day and the food I give them as a staple is: New Life Spectrum Thera A plus with Garlic. Keeps the
tank cleaner.
