Zach if you could do me a favor at your meeting and mention the huge NADA show in June I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Having a NADA show in the Pacific Northwest is a goal I do want to set for the club :)
I come from a Rabbit and large livestock show back round. The ARBA Conv. each year averages 20000 entries from at least 5 countries. Even our local shows 1-2 times a month average 1000.

Hey I'm new to discus but would love to get involved and learn all I can. I have been looking for more local clubs and breeders. I live in the Portland Oregon metro area so Seattle might be as local as it gets.

Did you ever get anything going here? I am relatively new to keeping discus and would love to chat with like minded folks.

Let me know!

So no Discus club here? Are you still monitoring this?

For anyone else, I am still interested in chatting about the discus world in Seattle so let me know if you are.

If you get any events together, please let me know. I'm in So Oregon, but would be interested in connecting if it worked out sometime. I started a thread a while back considering a PNW group. No real response. Thanks.

Looks like the interest is there. Time for someone to organize and host an event!

So, what do you want this "club" to do? Do you want to get together and socialize, bring fish, probably involving travel for most, or just chat? Really, I'm up for considering options.
