Hey just a simple way to attach java moss to what ever you want learned from reddit.com/r/plantedtank.

1. Cut up a bathroom poof (meshy thing used to clean your self in the shower) and get a desired size piece of mesh, tie fishing wire to one side

2. lower water level (or do out of tank) till desired surface is visible, (not necessary, but hella easier)

3. Put moss on surface, cover with mesh and attach the fishing line to the other side holding it together

4. Two weeks later (or longer) cut fishing wire, remove mesh, enjoy moss

The person who gave me the idea did this with ceramic tiles, which was super cool since he could rearrange his carpet when ever by simply moving the tiles

If you did not know, you can buy netting fabric at any store that has fabric, in many colors and by the yard or partial yard.

I've used superglue, both for this and for gluing coral frags into place in my reef tank.
