How much k1 kaldness fluidzed filter in 2 L bottle do i need for 150gal with 15-20 discus?
Does anyone know how to connect sponge filter to bottle with k1?
I dont plan on sump for this tank.

Here's a video I saved that explains how to do a sponge /k1 moving bed filter. The kids pretty crazy, but he tells how to make it and what you need.

Hey how much k1 media did you end up having to use in your 2 liter bottles? Was it enought? I just added Two 1.5 liter bottles of k1 to my 90 gallon. I hope to have 11 to 12 discus in it.

should be ok but i would add another filter such as power filter or canister. or sponges...

They say on a document I found written by Evolution Aqua Kaldnes manufacture, that 1litre of K1 once cycled will sustain 5g of food fed per day.

1ltr for 5g of food doesn't sound real good, you'd need plenty of media on a decent stocked tank
