I just received my shipment of 5 Cobalts and 2 Leopards. This was a very smooth transaction with Josie and Miranda. They not only made me a deal I could not refuse they kept in constant contact from the first email through post delivery. They are great people to deal with...and their discus are first class.

I know...pics or it didn't happen. Well...just keep in mind they have only been out of their bags for a few hours and their colors have yet to shine.

The first pic is of my tank before putting them in...the rest should be self explanatory.

I agree Chicago Discus is great. I deal with Miranda and they have delivered to me three of the most gorgeous 6.5 Snow Whites. They are beautiful and so are your discus. Best wishes and luck with them. Rufus

Gordon, it was a pleasure to put together that order for you. And now, seeing those stunning Piwowarskis in your gorgeous tank, I am just thrilled that we could have helped make that happen. Your tank is amazing, and the Cobalts and Leopards are perfect for it. Thank you for sharing it on the forum.... Miranda

Well...this was my first true attempt at a full planted tank. I read and researched about 6 months...then started at Christmas...then made the necessary plant changes and this is what I ended with. I am very pleased the way it turned out!

Yes...on the left is Pogostemon Erectus. It looked terrible when I first planted it...I left it alone and a month later it just took off!!! One of my favs in there!!!

now THAT is a planted discus tank, the blues look really good with your light green plants. They will enjoy the right side of the tank with the open swimming room. Great tank.

Thanks!!!

The funny thing about the heavily planted left side...they seem to love to swim through it...it seems they like to play follow the leader because they go through one by one.

maybe they like the way it feels to have the leaves brush against them, I have festivum cichlids that enjoy this feeling I believe. Fish are silly sometimes.
