The easiest way for me to siphon debris in my tank, and drain water down would be with a pc2, since I do not have a drain at a low enough height to really create a strong siphon nearby.
Is it ok to be sucking up left over food and poop with a PC2 or am I going to destroy the impeller in the process? I get the impellers are pretty weak to start, and need to be replaced rather often. plan is
1/2inch or 5/8 reinforced clear tubing to siphon my Barebottom tank hooked up to pc2 intake, and then the garden hose they provide to drain into my kitchen sink.
The pc2 will only be used to drain, I have an eheim 1260 in the garage that moves water from my storage tanks to the tank
