The eyes seem a bit large for their bodies which indicates some stunting. However, they don't seem too far gone. Their shape and color looks good, and your setup is correct for now. As long as you do daily 50% water changes with lots of food and cleanings, you should be able to get them to a reasonable size. I count six juvies in the tank, so you'll eventually need a 60-gallon or larger tank to house them. Good luck!

ok perfect there are actually 7, I will be going to either a 75 or a 90 in a couple months for the added area, also wondering what strain is the big melon colored one with the orange face that is in the 5h picture.

He looks like possibly a cross between a snow white and an albino gold.

Can't disagree with Geaux ....
Does looks like it has some albino golden background - could be that and a snow white cross.

some of the fins are torn as you can see in the pictures but they are progressing real well, that was after the first day they were here, now they all are pretty cool with each other, will have to deworm them as soon as prazi comes in, but other than that they are pretty cool fish and love having them in my room with all my other fish.

Was just wondering if you have a clear BB on your tank. I always try to cover or paint the bottom white. It seems to reduce stress in my experience if they can't see where they can't get to.

yes it is a clear BB, put some balck posertboards on the back, but might put some on the bottom as well, I do not know if I would go with all black or all white or any other color, if anyone can tell me what would be the best color, I know for breeding they use white so it accents the color of the fish and the fry can see their parents and eat of their slime coat, but is there any color that.

white is the best color in almost all cases (not a racial statement). Brings out the brightness of the colors. I hear that black promotes peppering in any pigeon blood strain and even non PBs can turn darker. I would recommend white or very light blue. Black is prob the worst.
