I picked up a proven pair of red turqs from Hans last December. In February this year they were raising their first spawn:

They went free swimming Feb. 22 this year. Here's this spawn today, so they're not quite 4 months old. I've got a second spawn coming up on their heels, and I'm out of tank space, almost, and need to move these. They are all 3+ inches long, eating beef heart, flakes and FDBWs. Selling them for $25 each, or 5 for $100. Pickup in Fairfax, VA is easiest, but if you really want them, I can ship. I've done it before, can do it again. My reluctance to ship is due to the added time required to prepare the fish and shipping materials, etc.
The red turqs take longer than most to color up, but these are beginning to show some color in their bodies, and more in their fins:
