Here it is folks, my 2014 NADA log. I'll post all of the pictures, video, and updates I can. I haven't decided how much video I will be doing but you can subscribe to my youtube just in case I put something up. Link is in signature. Also you can find me at @Carolinamatt on twitter, I am going to try and keep that updated, again no promises. What I can promise you is pictures in this thread. Lets start shall we?

All owners of the fish pictured will remain anonymous until after judging. So all I can give you is a picture without a name attached. And I'll name the people in the photos as best I can but I'm bad with names and might miss some folks. Feel free to add the name to the face if you know them!

The show tanks aren't even half way filled yet and its already an impressive showing. You missed out if you can't see these fish in person. Here is a VERY small sampling of whats in the room currently. All photos done without flash to allow the fish a day or two to adjust. I have to say they are adjusting very well already it seems.

Really wish I could have gone to NADA and bought some show fish but looking at matts pictures is the next best thing :)

Thanks Matt for the updates...I dont know if you heard from anyone one but I was in Austin on Wednesday and we had a sudden death in the family I had to leave immediately for....please keep updating as it is helpful right now. Hope everyone is having a great time!

To all concerned, I drove from Austin this morning to Columbia. Decided to go the whole way as I felt good. Happy to report after 17 hours, 4 bottles of frappuccino coffee, one pack of gummy bears, and a speeding ticket I am now home.

I'm going to bed, pics will come tomorrow of the fish.

It was in Georgia of course, right near the SC line. I should of known better, GA is the WORST place for you to speed and I was just ready to be home, it was 1am at that point and no one else was on the road. I guess I deserve it. Only sucky thing is ill probably have to pay that stupid crooked GA "super speeder" fine too. Oh well, first ever ticket life goes on. Makes me miss Texas speed limits lol.

Pulled into the driveway at 5:45. Just finished getting the fish in the tanks. Now I need to do water changes on the rest of the tanks since their last change was Tuesday of last week. Then maybe a nap cause I've been up since 6:30 yesterday morning. Not complaining, it was well worth it!!!!

I made it home at 6:00 AM with only an hour nap at 1:00 AM. Construction and fantastic rain stroms in both DFW and Kansas slowed me down a little, but all worked out. All of Hans' fish are in tanks and are doing great. I had a little rearranging to make them all fit. My wife thinks/now knows I am nutts and my daughter loves them. The big boys are very impressive in my tanks. All that extra water and maybe a little extra speed cost me a couple of miles to the gallon on the way home. It was great seeing everyone and I hope everyone and their fish made it homme safely. Matt sorry to hear about the ticket. Time for a quick snooze.

Just got home, that was a total BLAST meeting everyone. So friendly, was ACE seeing my own tanks again when I walked in, I just wish I had more fish now arrfg!!

I want quite a LOT of the fish I saw there, for me it was amazing to see strains I had not looked twice at in pictures from sponsors online but in person WOWZER!!

Josies / Laurence soon's white albino platinum are haunting my dreams that was amazing display well done. I want to rip down my planted tank and get 9 of them

Marion's champion and to me even nicer since I never wanted a red fish before was Ricky Lim's georgeous red!! Omg I could not look away but that fish cost more than I could afford for two pair LOL but I'm in absolute love with it and I want a pair of those one day for sure. Wow Ricky Lim is my new hero for breeding fish, that was something else

The wilds were stunning, Pats Red female was my favourite but close second was Larrys wild I forget if it was the Logo but wow, very very nice.

Rows and rows of quality there but also Johns home Breeds, made me want some instantly, I wanted some of James.P fish there were some beautiful Heckle crosses and an amazing blue cobolt pair Bobtools well done on those wow..bummed couldn't carry any back with me.

Like a kid in a candy store I now have a very big shopping list and red more room haha

Can't WAIT until next time!!

Was great to see the speakers though too PAUL rocks, I loved his talks sooooo much, what a knowledgeable guy we are lucky to have him here

Since I have been asked I figure I would answer here...yes my fish is rounder then he appeared in his picture. Matt has to get all of the pictures taken for the awards in about an hour...you ever tried to take 100 pictures of fish in 60 minutes....LOL.

Thanks all, yes Pat took video. I was very busy so I didn't get the video I wanted to capture. And yes John's fish is really nice. You must remember while I try to capture a full broadside shot of the fish often they would prefer to be at an angle and I do the best with what's given. So some of the fish may not appear as round as they often are.

Was written down as 92 in a 70, I'd beg to differ on the 92 but I'm not going all the way back to Georgia to fight it. Would just end up costing me more in the end.

Kid in my town whose dad is a sheriff was in southern MN and on his crotch rocket was clocked by an airplane patrol going 205 MPH

Should have seen me coming back from NADA 2012....I was passed by an old camaro when I first got into Louisiana....I had just filled up with gas and we crossed the entire state at between 100 and 105..............

I had zero issues with speed until I got into Georgia. Ran in the upper 80s all the way from Texas to the GA line. GA is just a bit slower than everyone else....speed limit and otherwise. ;)

Kind of narrow minded of them....LOL.

I got my license at about 11:00 am...got pulled over for racing at 7:30 pm that same day........ Mom should have expected it I had a 66 mustang.....I somehow talked my way out of that ticket but got another one a short time later for going 87....not too bad except I was pulling a horse trailer at the time.......The next ticket(s) was a 2 for the price of one kind of a thing....one for reckless driving and the other for the wrong side of the road not passing.......I hate it when cops don't have a sense of humor....

Matt, it was fun watching you take pictures and your pictures are awesome. I do have pictures and will post them but they are nothing like Matt's.

Also I do have video for all the fish. I will post the videos as they are uploaded but it will take a while due to the size of the files. I have videos of all the fish in each class organized by class. The open class is in two parts since the wilds were stuck in the middle of the open class.
