Just want to ask if what is the alternative to PP for ectoparasite treatments and for cleaning the breeding pair before they spawn? Thanks

Yes there is an alternative called Minn Finn. Just like PP your using it at your own risk. So whether you chose PP or Minn Finn do a lot of research first.

The active ingredients of MinnFinn® are hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, which decomposes naturally into water, oxygen, and vinegar. NeuFinn is used to neutralize vinegar into carbon dioxide and water. All these chemicals are naturally-occurring ingredients that are safe for fish, humans, and the environment, unlike other treatment options using organophosphates (known toxins to animals),
or Malachite Green and Formalin (both known carcinogens).

Salt 0.5 kg to 120 lt is great, unless you're in area whrer they developed salt resistant.

Chloroquine Phosphate is good

Chloramine T sold by Kusuri in UK. Look at Wikipedia.

Coper is greate when used carefully. Search for Copramine or Oodinol

Aradol by JBL combined with Praziquantel is also a good option.
