My Galaxies laid eggs and only one wiggler????

I'm concerned that when this wiggler becomes free swimming the parent will eat him since he's the only one. Does anyone know if this happens, and if so is there anything I can do to save him? Still, and will be always, learning. Thanks for any advise on this question.

There is about a 99.9% chance that it will get eaten or just wander off without attaching to the parents. I would not worry about it. Normally when a pair starts to spawn they continue to do so for a while. You should get more chances.
