Anyone ever tried Brightwell NitratR - Regenerable Nitrate-adsorption Resin. I know most people on "Simply" use Purigen, I have always been a little concerned about the recharging process with bleach? Brightwell uses salt to recharge. Sorry I posted this question on the Laboratory thread, it appears this one is more appropriate.

I am interested in the reviews as well. I have been using Purigen without any issues for couple of years though.
Edit- I don't think Purigen helps a lot with nitrate removal though. It does clear the water. (the big driftwood in my tank made water brown and purigen helped clear the tanins.)

you don't think it helps, Purigen, with your nitrates, that would be a big disappointment, because the reviews I have read made me think it is better than "sliced bread".

Actually this is really not the best section as only members with actual experience with Brightwell NitratR may post in this thread. This is one of the rules for this section if you read the sticky in this section.
