There was a time I made alot of BH mixes and sold BH mixes. Business was so good and I was so busy I had to hire helper but could not pay much. That was a big problem. Then I came across two youngsters, a brother and sister in need of a home and gainful employment...

They agreed to come and work with me in exchange for room and board, as well as meals , with a weekly stipend of catnip.

I did my best to give them the training they needed, but unfortunately they ate far more than they made and I had to let them go. Its really hard to find good help these days. Truth is I would have kept them working , but they really wanted to go and explore the big world...

That was a long time ago, and I while I was out and about I came across one them..Times had been pretty hard on the poor guys. He and his sister had been adopted by a well meaning old cat, but they were financially strapped.

Apparently he lives in a box now...

This would not do! These people had been like family to us... They grew up as brothers and sisters to my own kids.... Those memories came rushing back...

That was cute Al. Our barn cat Blaze loves to help out in the worm bins and during water change time. Loves watching the water flow thru the hose.

That was great Al...I set out a somewhat of a power point presentation of your thread to my wife and kids and enjoyed your story. They were made at first when you let them go but had a happy ending.

I think my favorite shot was the one with the Blackberry Brandy. Way too funny that the picture was a little blurry. I've had a couple mornings with that focus. :)

I wish I had a better shot there. Matt the fat cat is very light sensitive after a wild night of partying so had to snap a quick one with no lights and my old phone. :)
