Excellent photos! Especially with a phone, though their cameras get better and better. I have one of those macro lenses for mine as well (though its one of the very very early models without the bells and whistles and 4 lenses in one type of thing), but my main gripe is having to take the phone out of the case to use it. Still a very nice result though! Impressive actually.

Pece, really very nice. I have taken decent pictures with my phone in sunlight. Tank pictures are lacking. Any tips/tricks you care to share?

First for a good photo we need a good light, only aquarium light should be on and the light in the room should be turned off (the best would be to take photos at night so any shadows will be eliminated), and second, phone (or the camera) have to be hold perpendicular (at a right angle (90 degrees)) to the aquarium tank face.

Have you tried placing the phone directly on the glass. This avoids the bounce of the flash back into the lens (ie picture) and any reflections from the glass. It could prove challenging to properly frame your subject however.

Very nice. The technology within our phones now-a-days rival the technology of dslr's just a few years back. Manufacturers have seen how important cameras are on these devices and have made huge improvements.

One of the things I encourage people to do is, on their phone, go to their camera feature, and select the settings option. There should be an option to select even more options (typically more than what is shown on the regular interface).

You can control a whole slew of things from ISO to overlaying grids to initializing and disabling stabilization (this should always be on) and metering mods. The most important one I have found to be exposure compensation. This in turn though, lowers your shutter speed which isn't typically indicated in the general interface.

Again, dig in to your phone settings and play around with them. You can not really mess anything up in there so have a blast :). Worse comes worse, simply revert settings back to default ;)

I'm really impressed with ALL of the pics taken with the iphone and the olloclip lens. I have to buy me one. Do you know if they can attach to the life proof case? I bet underwater shots would be out of site. Thanks
