nice fish I'd say Male by the shape of the head and the beginnings of a dorsal trailer. Although I have seen female's with the with a small dorsal trailer in tanks by themselves but they didn't have the straight down slope on the forehead. In the end these are just guesses until it lays eggs.

There are female discus with trailers as well. I am not sure what you mean about the shape of the head to be honest.
