Sudden death

Ive read some similar postings on here but have not been able to find an exact match for what just happened..... In the morning all my discus looking great and eating great... other fish fine too. 8 hours later, one discus floating dead. he had great color and eating when I left for work. water change in this 90 gal 2 nights ago. no new fish added. Im confused and frustrated. He was young... like not even a year old. What are some possibilities here?

My guess would be a collision on an object or tank/hood.I've seen this happen before.

I was wondering about that because I had an angel actually accidently wedge himself between two rocks once and die
