The old saying goes, "the best camera you can have is the one you have on you". This statement always holds true no matter how much of a gear head you are.

A few days ago I was at work on my lunch break. I went outside and saw a beautiful sunset. Ran over by the pier and took a picture of it.

My goal for this thread is to ONLY show photos you have taken with your cell phone/mobile phone and post them here.

This first picture was taken in a mode I had never used before but have always wanted to try, it is called "surround shot" (Galaxy Note 4). It allows you to take multiple shots in any direction and it gives you points anywhere around you 360 degrees and stitches them for you. Not a bad mode since I only did it once and I thought it would be a bust, but turned out to not be terrible. This was roughly 15 shots I think, but the overall shot was only about 5k across which isn't very large.

This was a zoomed in pic in phone. As you can tell, you get a lot more graininess when you do this action. Colors seem a bit cooked. I did edit it a little but not drastically.

Please join the fun and post your shots! Any shots!

Well everyone else's phone photos put me to shame. I can handle a DSLR fairly well but I'm pretty terrible at phone photos....I actually want to get better though as like Ricardo says, best camera is the one you have with you and you always have your phone. I need some practice. First thing I should probably do is replace my case with it's scratched acrylic shield over the lens.

Here is my first submission, I'll have to dig more up later. How about the very north western tip of the Sahara Desert giving way to the Atlantic Ocean? Beaches of Tan Tan Morocco.

Very nice shot Stan. Was this a vertical pano or was this one frame only? Looks like a very lively place.

Well I'm glad you captured the scene with something other than just your brain Matt :). That way we all get to enjoy the beach side feel.

This looks like a painting almost. Would love it if it was properly oriented. How did you upload the file? Did you use our uploader?

I took my parents advice from my younger days and went and played on the freeway. Stopping at the 10 mile mark at the Greenwood Tree Farm. This is shot while I was on public roads as this is private property.

PP much? Lol

unfortunately due to the light conditions this was post processed much more than I like. The original was dull color, lack of sharpness to differentiate the trees. The light is very speckled in there. This really is a scene best taken with a DSLR.

Here is the original, no editing
