It seems you have found it! I miss Chad being around. Hopefully Rick can get a good amount of these? Rick, what percentage are coming out like this?

A very small percentage but I do have a few, hoping for a pair or two. Here is another (pictured with a golden glss) of mine. Excuse the crappy cell phone pic.

Jaw just dropped on post #33 pics... there is literally no one else like you on here. Loooove following your projects. I know I've said it before but really do appreciate the heck out of you constantly updating on all of your crosses, broods, growouts, etc.

I would give anything to be able to do this.
Life sucks when you know your smart enough to know you failed.
I see these pictures and it makes me cry, after almost a year of trying everything and thousand and thousands of hrs invested in studying and maintenance, not including all the money spent... A pinch of success would be nice, but nothing.
These incredible discus just make me truly consider quiting this entire hobby.

That's it.....
I'm done.

It's getting close to a year of perpetual failures (I would guess at close to 70 or more spawns lost), I have followed everyone's advice and still nothing, I see these tanks and the results are great, my tanks are getting close to something you would find in a medical laboratory, still nothing.
Ricks results are awesome to say the least.
Incredible!
:)

Beautiful discus Rick. This is what can happen when you know what to cross and having forethought about the potential line that may come out of it. Keep up the great work.
